We'll start the tour at a fountain that has had Royal protection since 1536 - the Mealhada fountain.
We'll stop at the old railway station where I'll tell you stories about the construction of the Cáceres branch line.
We'll visit the Póvoa e Meadas dam, a hydroelectric power station created by Custodio Nunes in 1927. I'll talk about the construction of the whole dam complex and the stories of its inauguration.
We continue on to the Meada menhir - the oldest in the world and the largest on the Iberian Peninsula.
There's a chance of seeing vultures in these parts.
